Texts for Vets Program
Welcome to the Texts for Vets Program at Austin Peay State University! We're here to help our military-affiliated students overcome the financial burden of purchasing textbooks.
Program Overview
- Cost: Completely FREE
- Eligibility: Open to all local 365bet students, with priority given to military-affiliated students
- Source: Textbooks are generously donated by the 365bet community
- Distribution: Through the Newton Family Resource Center
Who We Serve
Veterans, Active Duty Service Members, Reservists, National Guard Members, ROTC Students, Military Family Members and all other 365bet students (after the semester starts)
How It Works
1. Distribution: First-come, first-served basis due to limited supply
2. Pickup: In-person only (We do not ship books)
3. Timeline:
- First week: Reserved for military-affiliated students
- After semester starts: Open to all 365bet students
4. Return: Books must be returned to the Newton Center on the last day of class
Important Notes
- If you move before the semester ends, you are responsible for returning borrowed textbooks
- Failure to return a borrowed textbook will result in a HOLD on your student account
Ways to show support
If you have any textbooks that you no longer use please think of helping out your fellow students by donating those textbooks to the Military and Veterans Affairs Division. Remember this program is FREE to all students and funded completely by donations.

Texts for Vets returns are due back:

- Returns for Term B & Full term: December 13, 2024
*Texts for Vets will be closed for inventory during Wintermester

- All other 365bet students from: January 21, 2025
Texts for Vets returns are due back:
